What we do
We help our clients to protect their interests from the threats posed by match-fixing, sports fraud and corrupt betting activity.
Our highly experienced team provides bespoke consultancy services, offering practical advice and support at both strategic and operational levels.
We help organisations to develop their own knowledge, expertise and internal processes. This enables them to better understand, identify and tackle their key integrity threats.
Additionally, we can also provide ad-hoc operational support for major events, newly identified integrity threats and ongoing disciplinary or criminal investigations.

Lorraine worked in central Government for many years. A large part of her career was spent as a highly successful project manager in the UK’s largest government department.
Her experience in dealing with betting integrity and match fixing started in 2011, when she was asked to join Gambling Commission of Great Britain to set up the Joint Assessment Unit (JAU) for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Following the success of the JAU, Lorraine then went on to help establish and run the UK’s National Platform, including the formation of the Sports Betting Integrity Forum.
Lorraine’s background in betting integrity has led to successful collaborations with sports bodies, law enforcement agencies, gambling regulators and betting operators, at both a national and global level. She has been responsible for delivering projects including the production of risk assessments, training and education workshops, regulatory development and producing the UK’s national betting integrity strategy.
She is particularly proud of her work in protecting the integrity of major international sporting events, including the 2015 Rugby World Cup and the 2019 Cricket World Cup. Lorraine made significant contributions to the delivery of pre-event testing, the development of support processes and the production post-event evaluation reports.
Lorraine has hosted several successful events on behalf of the UK’s National Platform and spoken at a number of national and international conferences.
Lorraine has also represented the UK on several international projects related to sports corruption, including her role as a lead member on the Council of Europe’s (CoE) Keep Crime out of Sport project. As an independent consultant, Lorraine led the project to update the CoE’s Typology Framework – a ground-breaking tool classifying the different types of competition manipulation.

In 2022, Steve was elected by his international peers to the Bureau of the Council of Europe’s ‘Group of Copenhagen’, an international working group linked to the delivery of the Macolin Convention. Steve was also co-author of the Council of Europe’s Typology Framework, an interactive tool used to classify different types of match-fixing.
Steve has also been acknowledged as an 'expert contributor' for a recent ‘United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC)’ publication. He is a regular speaker and contributor at significant international conferences and has previously spoken at Interpol’s Match Fixing Taskforce.

He has also worked closely with international sports organisations to deliver integrity programmes for major sporting events.
Working with key stakeholders such as law-enforcement agencies, sport governing bodies, gambling regulators and Government departments, Steve has helped numerous organisations to build capacity, raise standards and deliver results within this field.
Steve has a postgraduate degree (LLM) in Sports Law and Practice. His research critically explored international approaches to tackling match-fixing (including both legislative and regulatory frameworks).
